Como entra el león en su guarida,
altivo, confiado, alerta y fuerte,
así entré yo en la noche de la vida
buscando las estrellas de la muerte.

As the lion enters his lair,
haughty, confident, alert and strong,
so I went into the night of life
seeking the stars of death.
